Shadows are the reality of the Missing within their ethereal presence.
What was here has gone and eventually replaced but is nonetheless still present within us.
Objects, Human beings, animals or places; their absence is so present.
-Porcelain shards stitched in a Sashiko style; the transparent paper “recreates” the missing part and even though, it is a very pale replica, the shadow on the wall has a full presence.
-Sterling wire assembles petals of embossed paper like delicate Phalaenopsis.
-Painted cans replicate the stains of the porcelain accumulated by years in the sea.
-Perfectly imperfectFreshwaterPearls, WabiSabi.
Contradiction or just contrast in between strong/ fragile, permanent/ephemeral.
I use things from the present to recreate what has gone for long now.

This exhibition is a manifestation of an innovative, vibrant SYNERGY among three galleries: Galleria Carlo Lucidi in Rome, the Tincal Lab Gallery in Porto, and Uni.Versus Gallery in Athens.
The term "synergy" comes from the Greek word "συνεργία" (synergia), which means "working together" or "cooperating” and explicitly implies a notion of unity and collective action where the outcome is greater than the sum of the separate efforts of the co-creators.
This first exhibition organised by SYNERGY will be co-curated by the three gallerists and will simultaneously take place across the three locations, allowing for a rich and interconnected exploration of the theme, as each gallery will contribute its unique perspective.
