Washi paper, so thin and therefore so strong!

Carlson likes contrast, unexpected alliances. She works with missing parts, adding them reality by creating shadows where there was nothing left.

She likes the misinterpretation of fragility, existence. The resulting pieces are ethereal, light, subtle...She refers them to Whispers.

"Challenging the notion of Contemporary Objects and Jewellery, my work oscillates in between media.

With my recycling and repurposing ethos, I feel it is time to redirect also my printmaking practice to broader horizons; it has always been part of my work even though in a quieter approach.

Time to acknowledge the different facets of my practice as a fashion designer, a printmaker and a Jewellery artist.

I make Bijou for the Wall and (eventually) the Body.

Each piece is unique due to the nature of the material and the way I enjoy creating only one offs."
